Melissa Joan Hart was born in New York in April 1976.
She began acting as a child and went on to star in the TV series Clarissa Explains It All and Sabrina the Teenage Witch.
Her other credits include the films Drive Me Crazy, Holiday in Handcuffs, and My Fake Fiancé.
Melissa Joan Hart's husband is Mark Wilkerson, the lead singer of the band Course of Nature.
As well as her acting career, Melissa Joan Hart has also established a sweet shop.
In Dancing with the Stars series 9, Melissa Joan Hart danced with Mark Ballas.
They were the 7th couple to be eliminated and eighth couple to leave the series.
