Steve Wozniak's Biography

Steve Wozniak learned electronics from his father and soon knew he wanted to be an engineer.

Woz, as he is sometimes known, worked as a designer for Hewlett Packard and then co-founded Apple with Steve Jobs in 1976.

He ceased full-time employment with Apple in the mid-1980s and left with an estimated worth of more than $100 million.

Steve Wozniak designed Apple's first line of products, the Apple I and II, and influenced the popular Macintosh.

He became involved in various business and philanthropic ventures.

In 2006, Steve Wozniak wrote his best-selling autobiography, iWoz: From Computer Geek to Cult Icon.
