Who is Dennis Wise?

Dennis Wise was born in Kensington in London on 15 December 1966.

He played football as a midfielder for Southampton, Wimbledon (1985-1990), Chelsea (1990-2001), Leicester City, Millwall, Southampton (again), and Coventry City.

In 1995 he was sentenced to 3 months in prison for an assault on a taxi driver, however, it was overturned on appeal.

His significant footballing achievements include winning the FA Cup with underdogs Wimbledon in 1988 and with Chelsea in 1997 and 2000.

He also won the European Cup Winners Cup with Chelsea in 1998.

He won 21 England caps, scoring once.

He had brief stints as a manager for Millwall, Swindon and Leeds United.

Dennis Wise was also an executive director of Newcastle United.

In 2017, Dennis Wise became one of the celebrities to enter the jungle on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.

He came sixth.
