Edna Dore's Biography
Edna Dore was born Edna Gorring on 31 May 1921 in Kent.
Her father was a porter at Crystal Palace station.
Edna Dore was an actress, whose numerous credits included playing Mo Butcher in EastEnders between 1988 and 1990.
Her other credits included acting in Mike Leigh's film High Hopes and Gary Oldman's film Nil By Mouth, whilst in the West End she played Mrs Sowerberry in Oliver and Mrs Crabtree in Billy.
Her TV Credits included Open All Hours, The Bill, Casualty, Doctor Who and Shameless.
Edna Dore died on 11 April 2014, aged 92.
