Who is Jennifer Aniston?
Jennifer Aniston, was born on 11 February 1969 in Sherman Oaks, California. Her father was the actor John Aniston.On July 29 2000 Jennifer married Brad Pitt, however in January 2005 they announced their break-up.
Jennifer Aniston's film credits include: Picture Perfect, Rock Star, The Good Girl, Bruce Almighty, Along Came Polly, Derailed, Rumor Has It, and Marley & Me.
Miguel Arteta, the director of The Good Guy was asked in a BBC Movies interview about the casting of Aniston, he explained:
"Screenwriter Mike White suggested we cast an actress you would never think of. Jennifer Aniston is America's sweetheart, a happy girl. We thought it would be mischievous and fun for her to play an immoral character. Thankfully, after eight years of doing Friends she was up for something different.
"Upfront I said the budget doesn't allow for comfort, make-up, and hair assistants. She said, "Stop right there! I'm completely happy with that!" I'm proud of her, she worked hard. She wore wrist and ankle weights every day for three weeks to teach her body to slump as the character would."
A poll for the Channel 5's Don't Get Me Started revealed that Jennifer Aniston was the celebrity most British women wanted to look like.
Aniston gained a huge 28% of the vote. Her nearest rival, Sienna Miller, got 11%.
After breaking up with Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston started going out with actor Vince Vaughn and was even reported that Jen's personal trainer, Kathy Kaehler had devised a workout programme specifically for Vince!
In October 2006, Aniston and Vaughn firmly denied reports of a split, however they later broke up.
In January 2007, Jennifer Aniston, who had starred with Vaughn in the romantic comedy The Break-Up, was voted best female star at the 33rd annual People's Choice Awards.
The end of 2008 saw Jennifer Aniston in her first film for two years, Marley & Me, which proved a huge box office success.
She was also going out with the musician John Mayer.
Jennifer Aniston has two dogs: Norman and Dolly.
Asked by People magazine reader Amy Greene what she had learned from dating in the public eye, Jennifer Aniston joked: "That if you start to date somebody, by the third date, you can guarantee I'll be pregnant with twins."
