Leilani Dowding's Biography

Leilani Dowding was born on 30th January 1980 and grew up in Bournemouth. She studied Economics at the Royal Holloway University in Surrey, but left to pursue her modelling career.

In 1998 Leilani won the Miss Great Britain Competition. It was not an event that Leilani Dowding had planned to go in for, but she was once waiting for her boyfriend when one of Miss Great Britain organisers approached her and suggested she enter.

The BBC has pictures of a young Leilani Dowding being crowned winner of Miss Great Britain.

She became a Page 3 model and has often appeared on television including modelling on Big Breakfast and its replacement, RI:SE.

Leilani Dowding has also had acting parts in The Dream Team and Mile High, and has played Tiger Lilly in the pantomime, Peter Pan.

In April 2005, Leilani Dowding became a contestant (The Vixen) in ITV's short-lived series Celebrity Wrestling. Other participants included Annabel Croft, James Hewitt, Kate Lawler, Oliver Skeete, Victoria Silvstedt, Michelle Heaton and Jeff Brazier.

In September 2006, The Sun reported how Leilani Dowding, as partner of Jeremie Aliadiere, was taking part in a WAG's version of Test the Nation.

However, The Mirror reported that Leilani Dowding had split from Aliadiere.

Leilani Dowding married Richie Palmer, the wealthy restaurateur, who was an ex of Raquel Welch. Dowding told Miami New Times why they split up.

In 2011, Leilani Dowding was featured on VH1's show Tough Love Miami.
