Pierre Andre Senizergues was born near Paris in 1963.

Senizergues is the founder and CEO of global extreme sports clothing brand, Etnies.

When he was 15, his mother bought him a skateboard and so led Pierre André Senizergues on the path to becoming world skateboard champion.

Senizergues's first job was teaching sailing on the English Channel, and according to an interview with Easyjet In Flight, he still longs to sail around the world.

Senizergues path, however, lied in another direction. He studied electrotechnic and industrial software and worked for IBM.

He won several freestyle skateboarding titles, including the 1982 European Championships and in 1985 he left for California to pursue his skateboarding.

The Telegraph report on alternative thinkers describes how Senizergues "between living in a car for six months, returning home for National Service and becoming the NSA World Champion" managed in 1988 to design his own skateboarding shoe called the Senix, and upon retirement from professional skateboarding he started distributing the etnies brand in the U.S.A.

Pierre Andre Senizergues's profile on the Global Green USA site followed the evolution of his business and how he organised the etnies, éS, Emerica and ThirtyTwo brands under the Sole Technology umbrella.

Sole Technology has a Research and Design Building dedicated to the physical impacts of skateboarding, that elegantly reflects the skateboarding theme.
