Hugh Alban-Jones was born on 13 June 1999 in Hereford and started playing football when still very young with Soham Town Rangers Under-7s.

Hugh played for Peterborough United Under-18s and then moved to Spain and joined the Alicante City Football Academy and had stints at Spanish sides Lorca, Hercules B and CD Llanes before joining Bedford Town FC in August 2021.

Hugh, who is 6ft 3in, normally plays in centre midfield.

His favourite player is Toni Kroos and he supports Arsenal.

In February 2023, Hugh was transferred from Bedford Town to National League North side Peterborough Sports. He had made 82 appearances for the Eagles.
