Gemma Bissix's Biography

In Dancing on Ice in 2009, Gemma Bissix skated with Andre Lipanov, however they were knocked out in the second week (the first round where the women celebrities competed).

Gemma Bissix was 25 when she entered Dancing on Ice.

She was just 9 when she started playing Nigel Bates's step-daughter Clare in EastEnders in 1993.

Gemma Bissix ended up staying in the role until 1998 and then reprised it briefly in 2008.

After leaving EastEnders after her first stint, she not only acted, including a role in Doctors, but was also a bra measurer in Marks & Spencer for a year.

In 2006 she was cast as Clare Devine / Cunningham in Hollyoaks, a role that won her British Soap Awards' Villain of the Year in 2007.

Gemma Bissix supports Chelsea and enjoys racing cars.
