Matt Lapinskas's Biography

Matt Lapinskas's major breakthrough into public awareness was when he was cast as Anthony Moon in the BBC1 soap Eastenders.

Working on EastEnders, Matt Lapinskas met his co-star Shona McGarty, and they started dating.

He left EastEnders in August 2012.

Matt is part Canadian, plays the guitar and writes and sings songs.

In 2013, he was paired with Brianne Delcourt on Dancing on Ice.

Early on in the training for Dancing on Ice, he fell and cracked his hip bone into the ice. However, he went on to come second.

He is a regular footballer for the charity Once Upon A Smile.

In an interview on the set of EastEnders, Matt Lapinskas revealed what it was like acting on EastEnders for the first time.
