Kristina Lenko was born on 4 October 1980 in Saskatchewan, Canada.

Her mother is a mix of Norwegian and Danish, which, she told The Mirror explains her blonde hair.

Kristina's sisters, including Joanna and Sarah, are also accomplished skaters.

Kristina herself, who began skating at 9 years old, finished eighth, in 2003, in senior dance with Danny Moir.

Kristina Lenko was previously credited as Kristina Cousins but is now divorced from the eight-times British Champion skater Steven Cousins.

In 2004 Kristina Lenko moved away from competing and into skating shows including performances for the Royal Caribbean cruise ships.

As well as her appearances on Dancing on Ice in the UK, she has also appeared on Dancing on Ice in Australia.

Kristina Lenko, who is 5ft 2in tall and weighs 7st 5lbs has a gluten intolerance.

In Dancing on Ice in 2009, Kristina Lenko partnered Graeme Le Saux. In spite of skating well, they were knocked out in the first week.

In 2008, Kristina Lenko partnered Greg Rusedski on Dancing on Ice.

Kristina and Greg survived until week 8 Of Dancing on Ice just missing out on being in the last four couples.

In 2007, Kristina Lenko partnered Stephen Gateley.

In 2006, she partnered Stefan Booth, who told The Mirror:

"Kristina is just so calm. She'll say things like, 'If you drop me during this move I won't be able to put my arms out and I'll break my neck. So if you don't mind being careful on your blades when we do this.'"
