Fred Palascak's Biography
In Dancing on Ice in 2009, Fred Palascak partnered Melinda Messenger.
Fred and Melinda were voted off in week seven of Dancing on Ice.
Fred Palascak partnered Sarah Greene in Dancing on Ice in 2008. However, they were the first couple to leave the show.
Fred Palascak got a second bite of the cherry in 2008, however, when he partnered the reserve celebrity Zaraah Abrahams, who had come in to replace the injured Michael Underwood in week 3 of Dancing on Ice.
In weeks 6, 7, 8, and 9 (the semi-final) of Dancing on Ice, Zaraah and Fred were involved in the skate-off, but in all cases survived to gain a place in the final.
In the end, Fred and Zaraah finished third.
In series 2 of Dancing on Ice, Fred Palascak was paired with Kay Burley.
Fred Palascak is married to fellow skater Melanie Lambert. They had originally met in 1994 as opponents in the US National Championships.
Fred and Melanie became partners on and off the ice rink and their accolades include being Eastern Champions and coming fourth in the USA Nationals.
Fred Palascak was born in Ohio in the USA and, at 15, Fred competed in his first U.S. National Figure Skating Championships.
In 1999, Fred Palascak turned professional and has toured regularly with Dancing on Ice (for which the BBC commented that "Fred Palascak and Melanie Lambert performed an exciting number, skated at great speed to the Moulin Rouge soundtrack, Can Can"), Holiday On Ice, Disney On Ice as well as Nutcracker On Ice.
