Antony Costa was born on 23 June 1981 in Edgware, Middlesex (just North of London).

Before going into music Anthony Costa used to be a labourer.

The former Blue singer was encouraged to go on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here by his former girlfriend, Emmerdale actress Adele Silva, who is a friend of another I'm a Celebrity contestant, Sheree Murphy.

Another member of Blue, who went on I'm A Celebrity was Simon Webbe.

Antony Costa and Adele Silva met in the Essex nightclub Faces. They had been going out for a long time, but in November 2006 The Sunday Mirror reported that the two had split amicably.

Anthony Costa said: "Adele and I have split. It's very sad. But we will always remain the best of friends. No one else is involved. It's an amicable split."

Antony, who is an ardent Spurs fan is a good friend of Jamie Redknapp. He was one of the celebs on Sky's The Match.

During I'm a Celebrity, Antony said that he aspired to be like Bryan Adams, whom he described as a 'megastar and genius'.

Antony was the seventh celebrity to be voted out of I'm a Celebrity after surviving 14 nights in the jungle.

Antony Costa was shortlisted to be the UK's Eurovision entry and came second in the BBC's Making Your Mind Up show on March 4, 2006. DJ Daz won, but Antony Costa scored more points than City Chix, Kym Marsh, Four Story, and Goran Kay.

In 2006 Antony Costa appeared in Blood Brothers at the London's Phoenix Theatre.

In 2008, Antony Costa appeared in The eXtra Factor, a comedy musical which looks at reality TV shows.

Blue reformed in 2010 and were chosen to represent the UK in the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest.
