Who is Antony Cotton?
Antony Cotton was born on 5 August 1975 in Bury. His mother was the actress Enid Dunn.He first came to prominence playing Alexander Perry in Queer As Folk, but achieved widespread public attention when he was cast as Sean Tully in Coronation Street.
Cotton won the second series of ITV's Soapstar Superstar and for a short while he had his own chat show on ITV.
In 2010, it was reported that he had exchanged rings with Peter Eccleston, a nephew of the actor Christopher Eccleston.
In 2011, he entered the jungle as a celebrity on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.
He prepared for I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here by having hypnotherapy to help deal with his fear of flying and heights and his claustrophobia.
In November 2017, ITV revealed that Anthony Cotton would be one of the celebrity skaters on Dancing on Ice.
He was paired with Brandee Malto.
