Britt Ekland's Biography
Britt Ekland was born on 6 October 1942 in Stockholm, Sweden.
Her father Sven had his own clothing store, which he inherited from his father. Her mother Mae-Britt would later suffer from Alzheimer's.
Britt Ekland acted in numerous films including Get Carter, The Wicker Man, Scandal and as Bond girl Mary Goodnight in The Man With the Golden Gun,.
From 1964 to 1968 she was married to Peter Sellers, who was 17 older than her.
She had relationships with Rod Stewart and Warren Beatty and she married Jim Phantom of the band Stray Cats and she was quoted in The Mail:
"To this day I don't know how Jim coped with us. He was just 22 and he had inherited a wife with two small children (Victoria Sellers and Nikolai, from Britt's love affair with record producer Lou Adler), a menagerie of dogs and a mother-in-law with dementia."
Britt Ekland described her extensive exercise regime to The Guardian:
"I've been doing Pilates since 1974, I lift weights, I power walk every day and I run backwards."
In 1980, Britt Ekland published her autobiography True Britt.
In 2008, she had a one-woman show Britt on Britt at the Assembly Rooms in Edinburgh.
In 2010, Britt Ekland became one of the celebrities on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here. She was the fourth celebrity voted off.
