Anna Ryder Richardson was born in London on 29 January 1964. Her father was a Malaysian student.

Anna was adopted by Colin and Gill Ryder Richardson.

In 2007, Anna Ryder Richardson became a contestant on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here. Anna did well in the jungle but ended up being the sixth celebrity to be evicted.

Anna Ryder Richardson, had stints as a model and a fitness instructor, but became most famous as a TV interior designer, most notably on Changing Rooms, appearing with Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, Carol Smillie and Linda Barker.

She had run a children's interior shop called Squidgy Things and then set up her own interior design business.

Anna Ryder Richardson's other TV credits include Whose House, All The Right Moves, House Invaders, Girls On Top, and Night Fever.

Anna is married to Colin MacDougall and they have two daughters Bibi Belle and Dixie Dot.

On ITV2's I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here Now, Anna Ryder Richardson revealed that she had recently bought a zoo.

Anna Ryder Richardson and her husband Colin MacDougall's struggle to open the zoo was represented in the Channel Four documentary Chaos at the Zoo, broadcast in November 2008.
