He is most famous for his YouTube channel known by his nickname Thatcher Joe, which had over 8 million subscribers as of August 2018.He gained the nickname Thatcher Joe because he used to work as a roof thatcher.
Joe Sugg started vlogging after being encouraged by his sister Zoe, who has a popular YouTube channel as Zoella.
He started his YouTube account in 2011.
Sugg appeared on the BBC's Joe and Caspar Hit the Road, alongside fellow YouTuber Caspar Lee.
He has co-written a trilogy of graphic novels with the title Username.
In 2018, Joe Sugg became one of the celebrities on Strictly Come Dancing.
