Katie Waissel's Biography

Katie Waissel was born on 27 January 1986, heralding from the London Borough of Hillingdon.

Her family own DNK, a fashion boutique on Pinner High Street.

In 2010, Katie Waissel came 7th on The X Factor.

In 2012 she married Brad Alphonson but they split up after just two months. Instead of a typical engagement ring the couple both had a heart-shaped tattoo on their wedding fingers where the engagement ring would have been.

In October 2015 she married comedian Brian Moote.

In the summer of 2016, Katie Waissel was one of the housemates on Celebrity Big Brother.

She was the seventh housemate to be voted out of the Big Brother house.

She completed a law degree and set up a foundation to provide legal advice and mental health support for people in the entertainment industry.
