Who is Lesley Joseph?
Lesley Joseph was born in London on 14 October 1945.She moved to Kingsthorpe, Northampton when she was 2-years-old.
She attended Northampton School for Girls, and always wanted to be an actor. Whilst there she acted in Masque: The First Born by Christopher Fry and Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream.
Lesley Joseph trained at LAMDA, where she became friends with and shared a flat with Maureen Lipman.
She then had a variety of roles appearing at the Northcott Theatre in Exeter.
Since then Lesley Joseph has had numerous stage and TV credits but remains best known for her role as Dorien Green in the long-running sitcom Birds of a Feather.
She has two children from her time going out with Carl Littlejohn.
In August 2016, the BBC announced that Lesley Joseph would be one of the celebrities on the new series of Strictly Come Dancing, in which she was partnered with Anton du Beke.
Lesley and Anton were the fourth couple to be voted off.
In the summer of 2017, Lesley Joseph along with Cleo Rocos, Don Warrington and others appeared in the Channel Five series Celebrity Motorhoming.
