Who is Paul Danan?

Paul Danan was one of the islanders on Celebrity Love Island in 2005 and he got close to other islanders including Jayne Middlemiss and Lady Victoria Hervey's sister Isabella.

In 2006, Paul Danan was in Love Island again. Before he was voted off Danan tried to cavort with all the girls but revealed that he was most interested in Emily Scott.

Sue Carroll in The Mirror described a Paul Danan incident in Celebrity Love Island:

" ... Strolling down the beach on Celebrity Love Island, the little-known moron Paul Danan - a star of Hollyoaks apparently - pondered the plight of being famous (as if he'd know).

"And decided the government should "do somefink" about the way celebrities are getting exposed ...

" ... You're on live telly, being paid thousands to take your kit off and cop off with that posh lass, Isabella. The one with a bikini bottom bigger than her brain. Spare us the pleas for privacy, will you?"

Before his appearances on reality television, Paul Danan was best known for his role as Sol Patrick in Hollyoaks.

Other credits include Casualty, Kerching, Daddy's Girl, The Queen's Nose, and EastEnders, in which Danan appeared as an extra when he was 11.

Paul Danan's presenting jobs include Test Drive My Girlfriend on ITV2.

In November 2007, Paul Danan was sacked from Jack and the Beanstalk after swearing at a crowd as he switched on the Christmas lights in Preston.

In 2010 Paul Danan was one of the celebrities trying to give up smoking on the Channel 5 series Celebrity Quitters.

In 2015, he was cast in Sky's Good Girls Club.

In August 2017, he became one of the housemates on Celebrity Big Brother.

He was the fifth housemate to be evicted.
