Who is Michelle Tsiakkas?

Michelle heralds from Cyprus, where she won many dance titles.

For example, dancing with Nicholas Shikkis, Michelle Tsiakkas won the Paso Doble National Competition in Cyprus 2010. You can watch them dance in this YouTube video.

After moving to London she went to the University of Kent and studied architecture and then started representing England in dancing before joining the dance show Burn The Floor.

In a post on Michelle Tsiakkas's Instagram account, she wrote: "If I could say something to my younger self, it would be to always stay true to myself and never doubt my capabilities. To surround myself with people who give me good energy and not worry so much about ‘fitting in’.

"I find that the older I get, the more I realise how important it is to embrace ourselves as we are - imperfections and all! You never know who you are inspiring by simply being you."

In 2022, Michelle Tsiakkas became one of the professional dancers on Strictly Come Dancing.
