Who is Perri Shakes-Drayton?

Perri Shakes-Drayton was born on 21 December 1988 in London.

She is best known as a 400m sprinter and 400m hurdler.

In 2013, she was one of Great Britain's leading athletes.

She won the women's 400m final at the European Indoor Championships. She also won gold in the 4x400m relay.

However, a bad injury in the world championship 400m hurdles and the need for knee surgery put her out of action for a number of years.

She suffered further injuries but started running again in 2017, although she no longer hurdles.

In November 2017, it was revealed that she would be one of the celebrity skaters on Dancing on Ice.

She was partnered by Hamish Gaman.
