Laura Parker Bowles's Biography

Her parents Andrew and Camilla Parker Bowles divorced in 1995, and Laura and her brother Tom moved into a flat in Kensington, London together.

Laura Parker Bowles was educated at St Mary's convent boarding school in Shaftesbury, Dorset. She spent her gap year travelling around South America, before studying history at Oxford Brookes University.

When her mother married Prince Charles, Laura attended the wedding with her boyfriend, former Calvin Klein model Harry Lopes, who was the nephew of the late Lord Roxburghe. In November 2005 Laura and Harry announced their engagement and the wedding was set for May 6, 2006 at St Cyriac's Church in Lacock, Wiltshire.

At the exhibition of new works by Helen David called Immortals in July 2005, Laura Parker Bowles showed that she was capable of a flowery turn of phrase when she commented:

"Immortals is a fresh, cohesive, strong show. It is a powerful show of celebrity verses the ancient side of the Gods."

Nick Paravicini is a godfather to Laura Parker Bowles.
