Who is Shama Amin?

She was a 41 year old owner of a children's day nursery, heralding from Bradford when she became a candidate on The Apprentice.

However, she pulled out of the show before the third task because of a medical condition.

Shama, a mother of five, is passionate about taking care of children and believes that she has the “skillset that is required to be one of the best, successful businesswomen in the early years sector.”

She told the BBC: “Being a lady of colour, wearing a headscarf as well, and the challenges that we face on a daily basis, I just want to be a living example for the Asian women and South Asian women out there.”
