Shane Richie's Biography
Born in London in 1964, the son of a dustman, Shane Richie is best known for playing Alfie Moon in EastEnders. He also played the role alongside Jessie Wallace in the spin-off series Kat & Alfie: Redwater.
His other television acting credits include Oliver Twist, New Tricks, The Good Samaritan, Skins, Minder, and Benidorm.
Shane Richie has also had numerous appearances on the stage in musicals and pantomimes.
He has hosted various TV shows including Decimate, Lucky Numbers, Win, Lose or Draw, and Don’t Forget the Lyrics!
He has also written an autobiography Rags to Richie: the Story So Far.
In 2017 Shane Richie released a Country & Western album A Country Soul.
His first wife was Coleen Nolan. He later married Christie Goddard.
In 2020, Shane Richie came fourth on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.
