Isla Fisher's Biography
When she was seven, her family moved to Perth. At just 9 years old, Isla Fisher started acting in ads and on TV. When she was nine her parents divorced.
Isla Fisher's first major role was playing Shannon Reed in Australian soap Home and Away. She held the role from 1994 to 1997.
Isla Fisher then went to the Jacques Lecoq School in Paris, where her studied included miming, juggling and clowning.
Fisher moved to England in 1999 and her TV credits there included the series Oliver Twist and Hearts and Bones.
In 2001, Isla Fisher was cast as Mary Jane in the film version of Scooby-Doo. Other credits followed including Dallas 362, I Heart Huckabees, and, importantly, Wedding Crashers, where she won an MTV award for her role as Vince Vaughn's girlfriend.
In 2007, Isla Fisher played Denise in Hot Rod.
In May 2007, Isla Fisher was awarded a Breakthrough Award by Los Angeles based organisation, Australians in Film.
In 2007, Isla Fisher and her partner Sacha Baron Cohen had a baby girl, Olive, in October. Back in 2004, Isla Fisher and Sacha Baron Cohen had announced their engagement and she later converted to Judaism.
They married in 2010.
In 2008, Isla Fisher, who is 5ft 2in, starred in the film Definitely Maybe.
In 2009, she was cast in the film Confessions Of A Shopaholic. Around the time of the film's release Isla Fisher did a photoshoot with Allure.
Her subsequent credits include the TV series Arrested Development and the films The Great Gatsby and Now You See Me.
In 2016, Isla Fisher wrote a children's book called Marge in Charge.
In 2024 Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher announced they were getting divorced.
