Ingrid Tarrant's Biography
Ingrid Tarrant was born in England in 1954. Ingrid was the second wife of Chris Tarrant, however they broke up in 2006 after 15 years. The Tarrants had two children and Ingrid has two from a previous marriage.
In April 2008, the Tarrants reached an 'amicable' settlement in which Ingrid Tarrant reportedly received £5.5m plus a property worth £6m.
Ingrid Tarrant has presented and appeared in several TV programmes. She was a reporter on This Morning and Wish You Were Here, and has presented BBC1's TV Mail and ITV's Tarrant's Way (along with Chris Tarrant).
Ingrid Tarrant has a 1938 Bentley, which she inherited from her father.
Ingrid Tarrant is a keen runner and has run both the London Marathon and the Great North Run half-marathon.
Before getting into television work front of camera, Ingrid Tarrant worked as a fashion designer and exporter. She also worked at ITN and TVam on their news.
Along with Stan Collymore, Jennifer Ellison, Patsy Palmer, Sara Payne, and Michael Portillo, and others Ingrid Tarrant appeared on the jury of the BBC Two courtroom show The Verdict.
In 2006, Ingrid Tarrant had a crash on Sky One's The Race, but escaped injury.
Ingrid Tarrant wrote The Rabbit Whisperer. She told The Sunday Times about her rabbits including hers, PP: " ... their ears are just so sweet. I hold PP's up to my nostrils. There’s nothing quite so soft as rabbit ears on the end of your nose."
Ingrid Tarrant was one of the celebs on ITV2's Deadline.
On 17 July 2009, The Mail reported that Ingrid Tarrant had been convicted of resisting arrest after being chased for two miles and wrestled to the ground by police.
In November 2010, Ingrid Tarrant was partnered with Carol Harrison on Celebrity Coach Trip.
