Emma Fowler's Biography
Emma Fowler was the first women selected to represent Britain in the Olympic Biathlon when she was invited to take part in the 15km Individual and the 7.5km Sprint.
Emma Fowler is from 1 Logistic Support Regiment Royal Logistic Corps, based in Gutersloh Germany, and served in the Iraq War in 2003.
Emma was born on 5 June 1979 in Taunton. She attended Chiltern Trinity School and joined the Army in 1995.
In 1998 Emma Fowler started her active interest in Biathlon. Her coach is Wolfgang Pichler
In the Women's race Emma finished 92nd at Ruhpolding 2006.
In March 2006 at the World Cup Emma Fowler recorded her best result of the season to qualify for her first Pursuit for over a year.
