Who is Georgina Bouzova?

Starting in September 2003, Georgina Bouzova played Ellen Zitek in Casualty.

Georgina Bouzova, who speaks fluent French and Czech, comes from an academic background and did a Law degree. However, whilst studying law, Bouzova acted in plays and commercials and decided to go down that path.

Georgina supports a number of charities including Jeans for Genes and Childline, for whom she ran the Bristol Half-Marathon. Asked by Childline, whether she had any advice for young people, Georgina Bouzova replied:

"I once heard someone say that the most detrimental thing in life is to not be able to make a decision. Decide what you are going to do and always follow that decision through and whatever happens is meant to be… if it's good then great, if it's bad… then it is a lesson to be learned from ..."

In Strictly Come Dancing, Georgina Bouzova danced with James Jordan. She certainly appeared determined, telling the BBC Strictly Come Dancing site:

"I'm going to win. There's no point in doing it if you don't want to win. Mind you, it's going to be nerve-wracking. I came to the studio last year when Will [Thorp] was in it, and it looked terrifying."

However, Georgina did not win Strictly Come Dancing. She and James were voted off in spite of Georgina showing improvement over previous weeks.

In 2007, the BBC carried a report of how Georgina Bouzova was found guilty of failing to report an accident.
