Who is Jennifer Gibney?

Jennifer Gibney was born in Dublin, Ireland and trained to be an actress at Dublin Oscar Theatre School. Early on in her career she joined Brendan O'Carroll's theatre company.

She ended up with numerous credits for directing, producing and acting in Brendan O'Carroll's projects across various media.

Most notably, Jennifer Gibney was cast as Mrs Brown’s daughter Cathy Brown in Mrs Brown's Boys. Reportedly the role was going to be played by Brendan O'Carroll older sister Eilish who ended up playing Mrs Brown’s best friend, Winnie.

Jennifer Gibney married Brendan O'Carroll in 2005.

Jennifer and Brendan spend a lot of their time in Florida.

In 2014, Jennifer Gibney was partnered with fellow countryman Tristan MacManus in Strictly Come Dancing. They were the second couple to be voted off.
