Who is Dani Harmer?
Dani Harmer was born on 8 February 1989, in Bracknell, Berkshire.Although Dani Harmer got her big breakthrough as an actress when she was only 12 when she was cast in the lead role in CBBC's Tracy Beaker, she had already been acting for 6 years.
When she was 6, Dani Harmer had acted on the stage in London's West End portraying Tommy, when he was aged 4, in Tommy the Musical.
The Story of Tracy Beaker lasted several series and led to a spin-off Tracy Beaker Returns as well as a feature length film, Tracy Beaker's Movie of Me.
In 2010, Dani Harmer was nominated for a BAFTA for her performance as Tracy Beaker.
She has also appeared in the children's programmes Dani's House and Dani's Castle.
In 2012, Dani Harmer was paired with Vincent Simone in Strictly Come Dancing. They came fourth.
On 7 December 2012, the BBC announced that Dani Harmer would star in a comedy series called Dani's Castle, to be broadcast on CBBC in 2013.
In January 2016, it was reported that Dani Harmer and her boyfriend Simon Brough were expecting a baby.
She gave birth to a baby girl in June 2016.
