Who is Hayley Holt?

Hayley Holt comes from Auckland in New Zealand. She started ballroom and Latin dancing at the age of seven, and her accolades include New Zealand Professional Ballroom Champion.

As well as being a dancer, Hayley has been a top-level snowboarder.

She and her professional dance partner David Yeates came sixth in the US Open Rising Star Professional Ballroom Competition in 1998.

Hayley Holt's favourite dance is the waltz.

In the 2008 series of Strictly Come Dancing, Hayley Holt partnered Mark Foster. However, they were voted off in the sixth week.

Although it was Hayley Holt's first time on Strictly Come Dancing, she was a regular professional dancer on Dancing with the Stars in New Zealand.

For a while, Hayley Holt reportedly dated one of her Dancing with the Stars partners, former basketball player Brendon Pongia.

At the time of Strictly Come Dancing 2008, Hayley Holt was dating New Zealand rugby captain Richie McCaw.
