Who is Deborah Meaden?
Deborah Meaden was born on 11 February 1959.She came to widespread public attention when she became one of the dragons on the BBC's Dragons’ Den, which she first appeared on in series 3 in 2006.
As a child Deborah Meaden won a scholarship to Trinity College School of Music as a pianist, but she focussed instead on business.
At 19, she set up a glass and ceramics trading company. She also held one of the first Stefanels franchises in the UK.
Later, Deborah Meaden joined her family's amusement arcade business. Eventually she worked her way up the ladder to be Managing Director of Weststar Holidays. She acquired a significant holding and made many millions of pounds when she sold her interest in the company.
In 2013, she became one of the celebrities on Strictly Come Dancing.
Deborah Meaden was paired with Robin Windsor.
They were the fourth pair to be voted off.
