Who is Patrick Robinson?
Patrick Robinson was born on 6 November 1963 in London.He is best known for playing Martin “Ash” Ashford in Casualty.
He originally joined Casualty in 1990, and stayed on the TV show for six and a half years. In 2013, Patrick Robinson returned to Casualty.
After attending LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) Patrick Robinson spent four years with the Royal Shakespeare Company.
In 2012, According to The Telegraph:
"Patrick Robinson claims that he was ostracised by one of the corporation’s [BBC's] executives for almost a decade after he spoke out about the lack of opportunities for black actors."
In 2013, he became one of the celebrities on Strictly Come Dancing.
Patrick Robinson's cousin is former footballer Ian Wright.
Strictly Come dancing was not Patrick Robinson's first time at dancing on television. In 2009, he appeared on Let's Dance For Comic Relief.
In Strictly Come Dancing 2013, Patrick Robinson was paired with Anya Garnis. They just missed out on the final and came fifth.
