Trent Whiddon was born in Australia and started dancing at just 7 years old.

In 2014, Trent Whiddon joined Strictly Come Dancing, after professional dancer Robin Windsor had to withdraw due to injury.

Whiddon was paired with Pixie Lott. After a surprising loss in a dance off against Simon Webbe and Kristina Rihanoff, Pixie and Trent were the tenth couple to be voted off.

Trent had been a junior and youth British Championship finalist and Australian professional 10 dance champion with partner Gordana Grandosek.

In 2002, Trent Whiddon joined the cast of Burn the Floor as lead dancer and it was the start of a long association, including many years as the dance captain and company manager of the Broadway production.

He has also appeared on Dancing with the Stars in both Australia and the USA and was a choreographer on So You Think You Can Dance Australia.
