Jo Wood's Biography
Jo Wood was born in 1955 in Basildon, Essex and grew up in a council house until she was nine, when the family moved into an old vicarage.
Her father was an architect and model-maker and her mother, who was South African, was an Avon lady and a doll maker.
Jo Wood became a model and was The Sun's 'Face of 1972'. She was also the mascot of HMS Caledonia.
Jo had her first son Jamie when she was 18. She continued to model and four years later she met Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood.
They married and stayed together for around 30 years, however in 2008, Ronnie Wood, who was 62, fell in love with 20 year old Russian waitress Katia Ivanova. It led to the break up of Jo Wood and Ronnie Wood.
Back in 1989 Jo Wood was seriously ill. It led to her changing her lifestyle and adopting a strict organic approach and in 2003, she launched her own range of organic skincare products, Jo Wood Organics.
On 11 November 2009, Jo Wood divorced Ronnie Wood on the grounds of his admitted adultery.
