Who is Eoghan Quigg?
Eoghan Quigg was a 16-year-old schoolboy from Dungiven in Northern Ireland when he entered The X Factor in 2008.
Eoghan Quigg ended up third in The X Factor.
He was studying for his GCSEs at St Patrick's College in Dungiven and lived at home with his parents and brothers at the time of The X Factor.
Eoghan Quigg started singing at school with the choir and was cast in the lead roles in school musicals. He got to the finals of Irish School Stars in their Eyes in 2006.
Quigg is sporty and enjoys soccer, hurling, Gaelic and boxing.
He played football for various teams including Institute, Maiden City and Limavady United.
In November 2008, the BBC reported how Eoghan Quigg's hairstyle was sweeping the country after being seen on The X Factor.
