Ben Caplan's Biography
Who is Ben Caplan?
Ben Caplan grew up in North London and studied at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. His father was an accountant.One of his most famous roles was placing PC Peter Noakes in the BBC1 drama series Call The Midwife.
His other credits include the HBO miniseries Band of Brothers, and popular shows such as Judge John Deed, Inspector Morse, Midsomer Murders and Whitechapel.
Ben Caplan also appeared in the ITV drama The Lost Honour of Christopher Jeffries, which won the best mini series award at the BAFTAs.
His numerous theatrical performances include playing George Tesman in Hedda Gabler at the Salisbury Playhouse.
Ben Caplan has also directed short films and plays.
In 2009 he married a theatre director called Emma.
