Luke Littler came to prominence when at just 16 years old he reached the final of darts' World Championship in January 2024.

He was beaten by 7 sets to 4 in the final by an in-form Luke Humphries.

Just six months beforehand, Luke Littler had been taking his GCSEs.

Born in Runcorn he was throwing darts before he was 2 years old.

Luke's nickname is The Nuke.

Littler continued his meteoric rise in the darts world immediately after the World Championship, when he won the Bahrain Masters, beating Michael Van Gerwen in the final. It was his first PDC senior title.

In February 2024, Luke won the Players Championship.

In March 2024, he won the Belgian Open on his European Tour debut.

The BBC reported how Littler's winning form continued in the early stages of the Premier League Darts.

Luke's success continued. On 31 July 2024, he won the Players Championship 15, which was his seventh senior title of the year.

In November 2024, Luke Littler won the Grand Slam of Darts and moved up to fifth place in the PDC's Order of Merit, having been ranked 164 a year previously.

On 3 January 2025, Luke Littler made darts history with his 7-3 victory over Michael van Gerwen to become the youngest ever PDC World Championship winner.
