David Boreanaz's Biography
David Boreanaz plays Special Agent, Seeley Booth of the FBI Homicide Investigations Unit in the Fox series, Bones.
Boreanaz studied at Ithaca College and to earn a crust whilst trying to make it as an actor he took a variety of odd jobs.
David Boreanaz's first significant role was as a boyfriend of Kelly Bundy in a 1993 episode of Married with Children.
He was such a success as Angel in Buffy the Vampire Slayer that Boreanaz was given his own spin-off show to star in - not surprisingly entitled Angel.
David Boreanaz also acted in feature films including Valentine, Aspen Extreme and These Girls.
His theatrical credits include roles in Hat Full of Rain, Fool for Love, and Cowboy Mouth.
He and his first wife Ingrid Quinn divorced in 1999 and David Boreanaz then married actress and former Playboy Playmate, Jaime Bergman. They have a son, Jaden Rayne and in March 2009, it was announced that they were expecting their second child.
David Boreanaz has a phobia of either chickens or birds generally (both have been reported); and is a keen golfer.
In 2007, Alan Cumming said of David Boreanaz, his co-star in Suffering Man's Charity: "I just really admire him. I like the quality that he has - it's so great for this character."
In May 2010, People reported:
"Bones star David Boreanaz is opening up about reports that he has been unfaithful to his wife of nearly nine years, Jaime Bergman."
He was cast in the long-standing role of Special Agent Seeley Booth in Bones.
