Danielle Cato, who is 5'6", started ballet when she was 5.

As a teenager, Danielle Cato studied at White Lodge Royal Ballet School and performed in the The Nutcracker, however she had recurring ankle injuries and discovered she had bone spurs that were to prevent her from following a career in ballet.

However, Danielle Cato moved to Laine Theatre Arts and was the featured soloist in Seeing Tomorrow and The Name Of The Game.

After graduating, she played Iris in Fame in London's West End and on tour. She was part of the ensemble in Peter Pan at the Theatre Royal Plymouth, and in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

Shortly before her appearance on So You Think You Can Dance, Danielle Cato was in the ensemble in We Will Rock You at London's Dominion Theatre.

Danielle Cato was 24 when she was a contestant on So You Think You Can Dance.

Subsequently, her credits included Cats, Fame, and We Will Rock You.
