Diane Carson came to widespread public attention when she became a contestant on series 2 of The Traitors, broadcast in 2024.
It was revealed to the audience that she was the mother of another one of the contestants Ross Carson.
She has other notable relatives. Her daughter Lisa is married to Sam Swainsbury, who appeared in the BBC sitcom Mum, whilst her son Kerr Logan has acted in dramas including Game of Thrones.
Diane Carson worked as a teacher for her own company Dramatude in Northern Ireland, Lancashire and the Cotswolds.
Diane used to work in a PRU (Pupil Referral Unit).
