Megan Fox's Biography
Megan Fox was born in Oak Ridge, Tennessee on 16 May 1986, and grew up in the rural town of Rockwood, the second daughter of a parole officer and a mother who had a variety of jobs.
Megan's sister, who became a child psychologist, was 13 years older than her.
When she was young, Megan Fox's parents split up and following her mother's remarriage they relocated to Port St Lucie in Florida when Megan was 10.
When she was 14 she did some modelling for a catalogue and she started to get the occasional acting role.
At 17 Megan Fox was cast in Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, which starred Lindsay Lohan.
A year later she was cast in a sitcom Hope & Faith.
Megan Fox's major breakthrough was starring in Transformers in 2007 and the sequel Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. She played Mikaela Banes, the love interest of Shia LaBeouf's character.
In 2008, Megan Fox starred alongside Simon Pegg in the 2008 comedy How To Lose Friends And Alienate People.
In 2009 she starred in Jennifer's Body, written by Juno screenwriter Diablo Cody.
In 2010 she was cast in Jonah Hex alongside John Malkovich and Josh Brolin.
In May 2010 it was confirmed that Megan Fox would no longer appear in the Transformers franchise.
On 17 June 2010, the Daily Telegraph reported Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green had got engaged again.
Megan Fox is 5'5" tall.
