Anna Walker was born in Sheffield and spent her early years there before moving to Holland. She returned to the U.K. and began a career as a television presenter.

Anna Walker was a presenter on Yorkshire TV's local programme, Calendar, and in 1989 joined BSB's sports channel, however when everyone was made redundant from the channel, she worked for BBC Sports as a freelance reporter.

Anna Walker has also reported for travel show Wish You Were Here, Neighbours Revealed and Big Strong Boys.

As well as appearing in a number of sports programmes, including Sky Sports's Goals On Sunday, Anna Walker is a great sports fan. She enjoys, skiing, tennis and gold, and supports Sheffield United (her favourite player is the legendary Tony Currie).

She has also presented Walker's World, an adventure travel series, and the BBC gardening show Garden Invaders. Her favourite plant is the orchid.

Anna Walker is a friend of Catherine Zeta Jones and was maid of honour at her marriage to Michael Douglas. She also interviewed Catherine Zeta Jones for This Morning.

Anna Walker was a contestant on Channel 4's The Games along with the likes of Kirsty Gallacher and HRH Princess Tamara Czartoryski-Borbon.
