Gavin Rossdale's Early Life

Gavin Rossdale was born in London on October 30, 1967. Note: the year of his date of birth also appears as 1965.

His father's side of the family were of Russian Jewish origin, whilst his mother's was Scottish Christians.

Bush and Gwen Stefani

Gavin Rossdale became famous in the 1990s as the frontman of Bush, whose commercial successes included their debut album Sixteen Stone.

In 1995 Bush supported No Doubt on tour, and Rossdale got together with Gwen Stefani, marrying in 2002, the same year Bush disbanded.

Rossdale and Stefani had three sons Kingston James McGregor, Zuma Nesta Rock and Apollo Bowie Flynn.

However they broke up in 2015. Stefani filed for divorce prompted, according to media reports, by Rossdale having an affair with the family nanny.

Other Relationships

In Rossdale's past he had a short relationship with Pearl Lowe, and they had a child the model Daisy Lowe. Although Rossdale had very little contact with her.

Boy George's autobiography revealed that Gavin Rossdale had a relationship with the singer Marilyn also known as Peter Robinson in the 1980s.

After Bush

Rossdale pursued his music career with the band Institute and also as a solo artist.

Bush re-formed in 2011 and released The Sea of Memories.

In 2016 ITV announced that Gavin Rossdale would be a coach on The Voice in the UK.
