Harry Richardson's Biography
Who is Harry Richardson?The Australia-born actor is best known for playing Drake Carne in Poldark.
In his life, Harry Richardson has shuttled to and from England and Australia.
Although born in the latter, he went to primary school in London, then returned to Australia for secondary school, before making his way back to the UK again when he was 18.
He did a short course at RADA in England before going back to Australia once more and studying at the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts in Perth.
His first acting credit was in the Australian film Looking for Grace.
Harry Richardson told Papermag about his role in the film Dunkirk: "I was in it for a second, but it was crazy just laying eyes on a production of that scale. It was a teaser to a dream that I want to actualize."
An important role in his early career was playing Frank Gresham in Doctor Thorne. Harry Richardson told The Trollope Society about how he related to the role.
In June 2018, the press reported that Harry Richardson had broken up with his Poldark co-star Eleanor Tomlinson.
He has also been cast as Gabe Lee in Death in Paradise.
