Who is Julie Brister?
Julie is best known for playing Marva Jefferson in the TV series Goliath.
Originally intended as a one-off role, it turned into a recurring part.
Other Goliath cast members include Billy Bob Thornton and Diana Hopper.
Her other acting credits include Transparent, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Parks and Recreation, Rules of Engagement, and Reno 911.
Much of Julie Brister's work has been in comedy and she has had her own solo show Fatparts.
Julie teaches at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in Los Angeles.
