Who is Morgan Housel?

He is a partner at the Collaborative Fund. He writes an excellent blog there, for example, this on Useful Hacks.

Previously, after studying economics at the University of Southern California, he wrote for The Wall Street Journal (2014-15) and the Motley Fool (2007-16). He was also a senior analyst at the latter.

His accolades include winning the Best in Business Award from the Society of American Business Editors and Writers, and the New York Times Sidney Award. He serves on the board of directors at Markel.

In 2020 Housel wrote the best-selling book The Psychology of Money, of which he says he wanted to "explain the 19 most important quirks about how people think about money."

He then wrote Same as Ever.

In an interview with Guy Spier, Housel explained that he wrote with himself in mind as a reader.

Morgan travels regularly in the States, but is based in Seattle.
