Who is Peter Wright?
He came to widespread public attention in the television series The Yorkshire Vet, qualified from the University of Liverpool in 1981.He was trained in Thirsk by Alf White, better known by his pen name James Herriot.
The practice became known as Skeldale Veterinary Centre.
After nearly forty years there, Peter Wright moved to Grace Lane Vets in Kirbymoorside, north Yorkshire and worked as a locum there.
Peter met his wife Lin in 1984.
