Rory Reid's Biography
Rory Reid, who heralds from South London, is a motor journalist and broadcaster.
He launched the Car Tech channel for CNET UK, and was a co-host on Gadget Geeks, which ran for one series on Sky1.
He has also presented on the Fast, Furious & Funny YouTube channel, and reported on tech stories for Radio 5 Live's Saturday Edition.
Rory Reid has also been editor-in-chief of Recombu, for whom he wrote about Chris Evans in June 2015:
"Chris Evans, carrot-topped British DJ, has been announced as the new host for the next series of Top Gear. It's a logical choice; the man's a well-known petrolhead with an assortment of Ferraris to his name (mostly coloured white) and he's an excellent presenter with decades of experience presenting an assortment of high profile shows."
Half a year later, in February 2016, it was revealed that Rory Reid would join Chris Evans as part of the reporting team on Top Gear.

In October 2018, the BBC announced that Rory Reid would no longer be a main presenter of Top Gear but would continue to be part of the show.
